Acidity of Stomach Acid

The digestive juices secreted by the stomach are mainly called Gastric Acid and they aid in the process of digestion. Gastric acid is hydrochloric acid. In the process of digestion, it mixes with other potent gastric and intestinal juices like bile, pancreatic juice.

The normal pH of gastric acid present in a human stomach is somewhere between 1.5 and 3.5. The acidic pH of the gastric acid is maintained by proton pump and hydrogen potassium ATPase. There is a saying that the acidity of the gastric acid and the other digestive juices combined are so potent that they can dissolve even a concrete building immersed in them by 24 hours. This is the reason why the cells of the inner lining of the stomach called the gastric mucosa is a six-layered structure and the cells have the capacity not to be digested by the very own gastric juices.

Effect of Stomach Ulcer on motion

Loose stool is a common phenomenon. It could be a normal response of the body to an event or it could be abnormal also. 

A stomach with an ulcer is a raw, wounded and inflamed area. When we take food on top of it, it might cause pain and other issues. Hence to protect the stomach getting hurt, the body goes on a protective mechanism like appetite loss, nausea, vomiting. If the individual still eats, then the body tries to shorten the time of transit of food and hence the food does not stay long in the stomach and goes early into the small intestine. This can lead to indigestion of improper digestion leading to loose stools and diarrhea.
